Kingaroy, Kumbia Drive
If time is a factor this half day drive gives you but a small taste of what the South Burnett and Bunya Mountains have to offer. Indulge on some of the local wines and produce. Take in a little history whilst in Kingaroy and learn why it is know as being the peanut capital of Australia. Alternatively, continue onto the magnificent Bunya Mountains and immerse yourself in the tranquil surrounds of nature.

The Peanut Van for the last 36 years has supplied some of the world?s best and freshest peanuts to their drive-by customers. Roasted, boiled, sugar-coated, peanut paste and eleven different flavours make up some of the edible souvenirs sold. The Peanut Van also offers a mail order service delivering fresh peanuts to Australia or customers anywhere. The staff have a great working knowledge of most tourist attractions in the region and are more then happy to pass it on when asked.
