As Burrandowan is situated 66kms west of Kingaroy, you will find plenty of area in a great bushland setting to camp. So whether you have a caravan, tent or the back of your ute, you will be very comfortable along with all the other race goers. There is free camping and showers available, so get planning early to get a good spot and be part of the excitement. On race day the route to the Burrandowan Race track will be extensively marked with road signs leading off all main access roads.

On the third weekend of April every year the Wondai & District Garden Club organises and presents the Wondai Garden Festival. This friendly event is held at the Wondai Sports Ground on the Bunya Highway 1 kilometre to the north of the town. The festival is solely devoted to gardening, with tube stock, mature plants, garden tools and accessories, shade houses, outdoor furniture etc. This is a show run by gardeners for gardeners.
