Goomeri

... antique paradise

Goomeri Antiques Goomeri will delight you with its range of gourmet food suppliers and fascinating shopping.  Browse through the wonderful emporium and other delightful craft stores, then, if you’re feeling peckish, try a homemade pumpkin pie, or visit one of the local restaurants.

The annual Pumpkin Festival, held in May, is one of the highlights of the South Burnett calendar.  Events include pumpkin races down Policeman’s Hill!

The memorial clock is a landmark in the town, and the Hall Of Memory, opened in 1926, is now a National Trust-listed building.

Drive north of Goomeri to discover other attractions: an historic homestead, a farm selling tasty home-grown olives and pressed oils, and a gorgeous B&B and cellar door.

Nearby Kinbombi Falls has a lovely picnic area and is popular with bushwalkers.  The swimming hole at the base of the rocks provides cooling relief on warm summer days.
