Just north of Wondai, take a left turn off the highway and head towards Proston.
Just outside the town of Proston you will find the picturesque Boondooma Dam.
This mass of water is popular for its freshwater fishing - the results of a committed stocking program. Good quality cabin accommodation is available on the banks of the water and there are excellent facilities also available for camping and day-visitors.
