Bunya Mountains... majestic scenerySet in the hinterland of the rich farming and grazing areas of the South Burnett, the Bunya Mountains National Park was created in 1908, making it the second oldest national park in the Queensland.
The Bunya Mountains are home to many species of birds. Brilliantly coloured king parots and crimson rosellas are commonly seen around the picnic areas. Red-necked wallabies often feed in grassy areas. Swamp wallabies and red-necked pademelons prefer the cover of the rainforest but can be seen along the road edge. Useful Links
