Four Wheel Driving

Four wheel driving is a popular activity in the South Burnett, and is a great way to experience some of the most magnificent scenery in the region.

Whilst many of the roads are sealed, there are still plenty of opportunities for four wheel drive enthusiasts with lots of side roads to explore, taking you through a diverse landscape, from agricultural farmland to state forests and conservation parks.

There are also four wheel driving parks dotted throughout the South Burnett region, including Land Cruiser Mountain Park at Jimna. Seven Mile Diggings, near Nanango, is another well-known four wheel drive location.

On your travels through the South Burnett, call into a Visitor Information Centre and ask the friendly volunteers about local four wheel driving areas.
