Golfing Round the Region

South Burnett...

South Burnett... just two hours' drive from the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane or Fraser Coast you can be teeing off on some of the most interesting and unique golf courses in South East Queensland Country.

South Burnett Golfing There are eight 9-hole golf courses (some with dual tees) and one 18-hole course awaiting keen golfers. Test your handicap against country courses, sand greens and even courses through racetracks, all while experiencing country hospitality and fresh country air. All courses are relatively close to each other and reasonably priced when compared with metropolitan courses.

The South Burnett is a scenic patchwork of deep red soils, vivid green crops, vineyards, olive groves, dams, state forests and national parks. Whilst in the region take time to visit the magnificent Bunya Mountains, track down antiques, explore history and try some of the exquisite cuisine produced in the region. You can stay in the many B&B's, cottages or quality motel accommodation. Complement your trip with a self-drive or organised winery tour.

Golf plus quality food and wine, antiques, boutique accommodation and country hospitality - all the ingredients for a perfect golf getaway!
