Nanango Shire Council is very proudly officially opened that the new $2.5 million South Burnett Aquatic Centre on Monday 16 September 2005.
The Centre is located on the site of the former Nanango Swimming Pool off the D'Aguilar Highway in Nanango's CBD. It features an 8 lane indoor heated 25m pool, a children?s leisure pool and many other facilities including a hydrotherapy pool.
The Centre will now be open from between 5:30am and 7:00am, then 9:00am to 6:00pm Mondays to Fridays, and from 9:00am to 6:00pm on weekends (winter swimming times will be adjusted to suit).
